<p><a href="http://www.pressthered.com/snum">SNUM</a> now supports the <a href="http://code.google.com/apis/socialgraph/">Google Social Graph</a>  API. SNUM uses google to find the related social network sites of a given url. </p>
<p>The <a href="http://dandyid.org">dandyId</a> api is used first, but if nothing is found, google is called. This greatly improves the coverage and use of the tool. </p>
<p>Google&#8217;s results can vary and are dependent on the social network sites implementing the protocols correctly. So it still better to define your own identity (through a service such as dandyId), than rely on Google. </p>
<p>What dandyId also provides (and might be implemented in a future SNUM release), is the ability to prove your identity. See dandyId&#8217;s <a href="http://www.dandyid.org/blog/?p=462">Identity Verification</a> feature.</p>
