Marking All Messages Read in Lotus Notes

Tech Tips

To Mark All Messages Read:
– In the Edit Menu, click Unread Marks, then Mark All Read

The shortcut to mark individual or selected messages read is the Insert key.

When Does this Work?
This worked for Lotus Notes 6.5 and I read it should work for 7.

When Will This Help?
If you are coming from an Outlook world and you miss right clicking a folder and clicking Mark All Read.
Also when you setup mail rules in Notes, you can not mark a message read as an action. So it helps to periodically mark entire folders read.
