My latest project for Twitter. Try it out!

It’s unbreakable. Ok, that’s not true, but I do need some testers.

It’s a Django app running on Google App Engine. It utilizes the Twitter api and their OAuth implementation (so you can log in with your Twitter account).

Currently only the Amazon product catalog is available for browsing, but more will be added.

SNUM now supports the Google Social Graph API. SNUM uses google to find the related social network sites of a given url.

The dandyId api is used first, but if nothing is found, google is called. This greatly improves the coverage and use of the tool.

Google’s results can vary and are dependent on the social network sites implementing the protocols correctly. So it still better to define your own identity (through a service such as dandyId), than rely on Google.

What dandyId also provides (and might be implemented in a future SNUM release), is the ability to prove your identity. See dandyId’s Identity Verification feature.

What’s New:
Profile Info Popup: An icon has been added in the status bar. When you right click it, more information is shown about the user.

The keyboard shortcut Alt-I (Option-I on Mac) will work in addition to right clicking the icon.

You can still right click the SNUM label to get a quick list of social network sites to navigate.

Currently the profile info is coming from dandyId. I am planning on supplementing the info with Google’s social network api.

What’s New:
Auto Scanning. This is an experimental feature that is activated when browsing twitter.com. When enabled, Auto Scanning will look up twitter ids that it finds on the page. If the twitter id has an associated dandyId account, it will display a dandyId icon. Clicking the icon will get additional profile info.
